Sunrise Village creates nurturing and empowering opportunities for people with disabilities through farm and community-based programs. This therapeutic workshop offer opportunities to work on fine motor skills and sensory regulation, as well as the mood-boosting affects of creating something beautiful. The mindfullness aspects of this project can help with concentration and emotional regulation.
FREE kits are limited to the first 20 people to register. One kit per household. Additional kits are available for purchase.
Kits can be picked-up curbside in Bettendorf. Registrants will be contacted a week before the workshops to schedule a pickup date and time. Delivery is available to the metro Quad Cities on an as-needed basis only. Please contact us at [email protected] to request a delivery.
All registrants will receive a link to join us on Zoom for a live tutorial, a list of supplies (in case you would like to create more than one, or weren’t able to get one of the free kits), text instructions, and recorded video instructions.
